This collection is an archive for all my imagesof English Electric Class 50 locomotives, duringtheir days in active service with British Rail (BR)and now in their subsequent restoration andpreservation. There is also a collection of pictures
taken in themid-1980s that provides a flavour of the manytypes of locomotive that were in use throughoutthe national BR network during this period. The later photographs have all been taken usinga variety of digital cameras. Earlier photographs
from the mid-1980s are scans of images which
were taken using an Olympus OM-10 SLR.
